PRADEEP KASTHALA

Pradeep Kasthala is a Chartered Accountant and lawyer with over 26 years of experience. He practices in direct and indirect tax at Hyderabad, India. He has extensive experience in managing complex tax controversies, especially in the field of transfer pricing and international tax. He regularly represents clients before courts, tribunals and authorities in negotiated settlements, litigation and audits. The cases argued by him have been reported in law reports. He represents and advises clients in a broad range of industries including manufacturing, logistics, infrastructure and information technology services.
He has engaged in negotiating Advance Pricing Agreements with the Govt. of India on behalf of global companies. He advises his clients on comprehensive dispute resolution strategies ranging from audit to litigation to AAR/MAP/APA strategies.
Earlier, Pradeep worked as Tax Partner in BDO India LLP and was founder partner of a chartered accountant firm based out of Hyderabad. He successfully defended many of his clients’ tax disputes in appeals and audits.
Apart from being a Chartered Accountant, Pradeep is a law graduate from Osmania University. He has spoken at ICAI and CII conferences and published articles with leading international journals.
